Joseph Anthony “Trey” Mancini III is an American first baseman and outfielder who competes for the Houston Astros in Major League Baseball. With the Baltimore Orioles, he made his MLB debut in 2016.
Early Life, and Education
Trey Mancini was born in Winter Haven, Florida, the United States of America, as Joseph Anthony “Trey” Mancini III.
Mancini, the Baltimore team’s first baseman, is the son of Tony Mancini and Berth Mancini.

The Baltimore Orioles also chose Mancini in the eighth round of the 2013 MLB draft. After joining the organization, he made his professional debut with the Class A-Short Season New York Yankees.
Trey began the following season with the Class A South Atlantic League’s Delmarva Shorebirds before being promoted to the Class A-Advanced Carolina League’s Frederick Keys.
Mancini had a.284 batting average, ten home runs, and 83 RBIs in 137 games.
Trey was promoted to the Class AA Eastern League’s Bowie Baysox.
Professional Baseball Career
Trey was finally promoted to the major leagues on September 18, 2016, after countless hours of training and playing for other teams.
Two days later, he made his long-awaited MLB debut as a designated hitter against the Boston Red Sox.
Not to mention, Trey made an impression on the fans by hitting a home run against Eduardo Rodriguez in his second at-bat, making him the fourth player in Major League history to do so.
Trey went on to hit his second home run two nights later, becoming the 20th player in MLB history to do so in his first two starts. But, once again, Mancini hit a hat trick against the Arizona Diamondbacks on September 24.

He is also the third baseball player in history to accomplish this feat in his first three starts.
Trey made the Orioles’ 2017 Opening Day roster after moving to the outfield. He tied Trevor Story and Dino Restelli for the most home runs in a single game with seven.
Baltimore Orioles
2018 for young Trey went by successfully, just like his previous years. Mancini got off to a fast start the following season and led the Orioles in nearly every offensive category by late April.
Three MLB players, including Mancini, have at least 35 doubles, 34 home runs, and 100 runs just this year.
The same can be said for his five hits on September 24, 2019, in an 11-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, setting a new career high. Trey hit.291 for the season, adding 35 home runs and 97 RBIs.
It was later discovered that the young athlete had a procedure to remove a cancerous tumor from his colon.
Then, on April 28, Trey revealed that he was suffering from stage 3 colon cancer and that chemotherapy would begin in six months. Later, on March 15, Mancini posted a video on Instagram in which he displayed the results of his blood test.
