Jessica Schimmel is a TV producer and wife of stand-up comedian, actor, TV and podcast host, Joseph James Rogan or Joe Rogan. She was born on 28th June 1978 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.
Her father Robert Schimmel was a famous comedian. He was a controversial figure and his work was X-rated. He died in 2010 due to a car accident. Her mother was Vicki Schimmel. Jessica has the following siblings- Derek, Aaliyah, Jacob, Sam, and Max. Her grandparents are Otto and Betty Schimmel. She is the niece of Jeff and Sandy Schimmel.
When Jessica was 21 years old, her father started dating her friend Melissa who was just 4 years her senior. He disclosed this at home and it led to the divorce between her parents. Jessica shared a very strange relationship with her new step-mother who was also her best friend before. Jessica Schimmel attended the University of Arizona and did a degree in Psychology.
She was a pre-med student. She had for minor the subjects of Molecular and Cellular Biology, which she did not find very exciting. Besides her studies, Jessica used to travel and tour with her father for his shows and events. She enjoyed it thoroughly.

Jessica also appeared with her dad on the show ‘Howard Stern’ from 1999 to 2008. Jessica Schimmel was more into production and did not like acting much and also says that she was terrible in it. In an interview given to Oceanviewpress, Jessica had said:
“I had to take an acting 101 class in college as a elective and I barely got a B, but I was acing organic chemistry…not my thing I guess.”
She also could not do comedy. She believes that it is tough to make people laugh. Jessica said:
“No stand up comedy is a tough life and not one I want. I would love to write. I think I might just have enough crazy inspiration from my life.”
On 24th February 2005, Jessica Schimmel moved to New York with no specific plans or reason. She just wanted a change and wanted to commence a new chapter in her life.

Jessica Schimmel was dating a boy during her college days. This went on for 5.5 years and it was this romantic association that made her life in Arizona interesting and enjoyable.
