Who is Tyga?
The famous rapper Tyga has been accused of sending an inappropriate message to Molly O’Malia on Instagram. The 14-year-old known for singing has released an official statement regarding the ‘uncomfortable’ phone contact.
Tyga’s inappropriate messages to Molly
The news first came out on Monday, January 4 during the news conference held by Gloria Allred, which said that Ok! Magazine article claimed that the girl filed a lawsuit against the tabloid because she was ‘sexualized’ in their December 2015 cover story. There was a report which claimed that she came in between Kylie Jenner and Tyga’s relationship.
Molly said:
“Tyga contacted me first. He direct-messaged me on Instagram. I knew who he was, but I was surprised that he was contacting me. I thought that it could be about my music but he did not mention that in his initial communication. I thought that was strange but I was thinking he would bring it up in his next message to me. However, he didn’t mention it in the text message.”
But the rapper denied the claim although he admitted to getting in touch with the teen on social media saying he only contacted her because of her singing ability. According to the news by TMZ, it says that it was the team of the rapper who wanted him to talk to the teen so that they could sign her as a singer.

In defense of Tyga, his manager Anthony Martini also spoke on the matter to a celebrity gossip site saying that the 26-year-old wanted to communicate to her solely based on her singing ability and great vocal chops to sign her on the Last Kings Records Project which was his record label.
Tyga also revealed that their conversation was strictly business and no flirtation took place. Also as found in the text messages, it was seen that Molly had lied about her age and told the rapper that she was 17, according to TMZ.
The manager also says that T-Raww was trying to get some music from her and that’s when O’Malia felt uncomfortable. Also about the face time in the conversation, it was just that he wanted to hear her sing and talk business and nothing else at all.
Tyga on Defense with His People’s Support
With the lawsuit, Tyga had to defend himself to the world as well as his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. According to Hollywood Life, the rapper doesn’t think that he has done anything wrong with the interaction with the teen as he was just trying to make Molly’s career and earn some money himself.
“Tyga’s got nothing to hide and he’s been upfront with Kylie about this situation from the jump. Tyga only reached out to this girl because she had a huge online presence and thought if that many people like her vocals then there’s got to be something there that he can work with help further develop.”
Tyga got his back covered as his insider are also in defense with the claim that he only joined the media in search of raw talents.
“He was in the mindset that she could be the next best thing. Tyga was thinking dollars – that’s it! He doesn’t think Kylie should have a problem with this at all. After all, Kylie’s always been riding Tyga, telling him to make more money and encouraging him to be a huge player in the rap biz. So, he saw an opportunity and went for it. He was being proactive and trying to find talent as Akon did with Lady Gaga. It was all business on his end and that’s exactly what he told Kylie of this situation.”
There were also reports that Molly did not tell Tyga that she was 14 while some claim that it was written that she was 14 years old.
With all the things said it favors Tyga but if it was the truth then it’s kind of shady for the guy his age-hitting on teens on social media. But we hope all turns out to be ok with both parties!
