Everyone has a different life before coming to fame. Likewise, during her youth, Annabel was a figure skater. She received her degree from the University of Alberta in education and physical education.
At the time when she met her husband Pat, she was working as a figure skating trainer and teaching grade school students in Edmonton. Though Pat is the son of Paul Dennis Bowlen, a millionaire who had made his money in the Canadian oil business, he is successful in his own right as an affluent lawyer.
After their marriage, the duo moved to Denver, where he bought the Broncos from its previous owner Edgar Kaiser Jr. in 1984. He kept the team’s ownership in a family trust fund.
During Pat’s leadership, the Broncos won seven AFC and three Super Bowl championships. Moreover, the team also made one of the most successful teams in NFL history.
At the period of time, Annabel got the chance to introduce to the Beacon Youth & Family Center. Later on, it became her pet charity. Moreover, she was also the founder and President Emeritus of the charitable arm of the Englewood agency till 2011.

Annabell was born in Edmonton, the capital of the Canadian province of Alberta, in 1956. She was born to retire British secretary Joan Spencer and her World War II pilot husband.
She also has a brother Richard, who is the founder and president of Spencer Environmental Management Services. Moreover, her family is also related to the British royal family through Princess Diana. Talking about her married life, she has five children sons John and Patrick and daughters Brittany, Annabel, and Christiana with her husband Pat.
Moreover, she is also the mother of the step-mother of Pat’s daughters Beth and Amie from his previous marriage to Sally Parker. She together with her husband and her children resides in Denver for the last 30 years.
Annabel’s husband Pat Bowlen is suffering from short-term memory loss for a long time. He opened up about his disease publicly in an interview in 2009. Moreover, in 2014, he also got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and subsequently vacated the position of the CEO.
